We are proud to announce that QX is shortlisted for the GSA UK Professional Awards 2017 in both of the two categories it entered – Excellence in Business Process Outsourcing and The Best Far Shore Team.
With tough submission criteria, the judges were looking for examples demonstrating the company’s ability to benefit the client company through effective and efficient delivery. We are thrilled to make the list of finalists in these categories alongside leading brands like Capita, EXL and Teleperformance.
The GSA’s Professional Awards exists to recognise the individuals, teams and companies who do their utmost to make sourcing work. The shortlist spans a wide variety of functions and industry sectors, but all of those featured have one thing in common - a drive to achieve outstanding success through sourcing.
Kerry Hallard, CEO of the GSA UK, commented: “The ongoing availability of skills is increasingly becoming a chief concern for those operating in the sourcing sector in the UK and beyond, as our industry is disrupted by new technologies and innovations. That’s why the GSA’s Professional Awards exists – to celebrate sourcing’s most talented people, and encourage the continuing professionalization of the industry globally through showcasing sourcing best practice along with the Global Sourcing Standard.”
Mahesh Jain, Director, QX Finance & Accounts Outsourcing, added, “Our teams work so hard for our clients; delivering process excellence and improved efficiency to drive greater profitability for them is what we are here for. We have hugely talented people in those teams and this shortlisting is a wonderful acknowledgement of that fact. We all have our fingers crossed for the final result.”
The Global Sourcing Association (GSA) is the industry association and professional body for the global sourcing industry, and home of the Global Sourcing Standard. Its overriding objective is the ongoing development and dissemination of the Standard and supporting portfolio to improve the benefits from, and positive reputation and therefore size of, the global sourcing industry.
The GSA also serves to share best practice, trends and connections across the globe and to bring the global community together in a wholly interactive manner for the first time. The Global Sourcing Association UK, also known as GSA-UK, was formerly known as the National Outsourcing Association in the UK.
