We’re a reliable and professional team of accountants with a thorough working knowledge of the UK financial reporting and tax compliance requirements, as well as commonly used software platforms such as Xero, Sage, SAP Business One, Oracle, Salesforce, Merit, and many more. Our India operations run like a UK practice, with junior, intermediate and senior staff. We’re led by Chris Robinson, a KPMG-qualified, ICAEW-member chartered accountant with over 20 years’ business experience.

Chris Robinson Chairman - QX Ltd

Chris Robinson, Executive Chairman of QX Ltd, founded the company in 2003 in Skipton, North Yorkshire to provide cost-effective outsourced accounting services to Chartered Accountants through its office in Ahmedabad, India. His own personal experience of setting up a company in India means he can bring valuable insight into the steps and processes a business needs to take to establish themselves there.

An ICAEW-qualified Chartered Accountant by profession, Chris qualified with KPMG and was in practice for over 20 years. He ran Business Solutions (Northern) Limited, providing accounting and part time FD services to owner-managed businesses in the Yorkshire area. From there he joined the dot com boom and spent three years as a Finance Director of an AIM-listed ISP.

In 2002, he was a founding member of the team to take over JCJ (now HCL Doctors), a specialist locum recruitment agency, which he grew from a turnover of £1 million to £30 million within 3 years.

Mahesh Jain CEO – QX Finance & Accounting Services

Mahesh is a qualified chartered accountant with 18 years of experience in the field, and one of the very first employees of QX Ltd, having been with the company since 2004. Over the years he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Group Management Accountant, Finance Controller for a top UK student accommodation client, and played an instrumental role in setting up the QX Accounting Services (QXAS) division. Currently, he serves as the CEO of QX Finance & Accounting Services.

Mahesh possesses broad experience of providing comprehensive support to the Payroll Managers, Finance Controllers and Finance Directors of student accommodation, recruitment, healthcare, manufacturing, media & publishing and software development companies through a dedicated finance team. He oversees the management of more than 250 accountants and payroll specialists and is responsible for the entire service delivery.

Bringing rich functional expertise and practical experience in leading large accounting operations, Mahesh, a PRINCE2 Practitioner, optimises the efficiency of accounting operations, ensures smooth project transitions and devises strategy for empowering clients – large, listed organisations and SMEs to small businesses and start-ups – to boost revenues and improve profitability.

In addition, he has overseen the implementation of Sage, SAP, Oracle, Merit, MS Navision and other software systems for a diverse clientele, and he excels at directing projects for process re-engineering and boosting efficiency through digitisation and automation.

His focus on building strong client relationships and his willingness to walk the extra mile have led to several long-lasting client relationships. He takes QX’s partnership approach to heart and delivers value-added services that fuel clients’ success. Under his leadership, QXFA has grown by leaps and bounds, driven primarily by referrals from delighted clients.

Key people

Hardik Sanghvi

Hardik is a qualified chartered accountant with over 10 years of experience in finance & accounts, working for enterprises with a global presence. An integral part of the QXFA team since 2008, he has delivered excellent results in his previous roles of Accounts Manager and Senior Manager Accounts.

Combining his hands-on experience in client management and team management with his in-depth understanding of a client’s business processes, he excels in project transitioning and management. Hardik helps clients – enterprises with a turnover of over £100 million to SMEs and start-ups – achieve significant cost savings through process improvement, redesign, and transformation. He specializes in management accounts, consolidation of final accounts, yearend finalisation and designing policies for internal control.

With several successful finance & accounting outsourcing projects under his belt for a wide range of industries, Hardik leverages his support skills like staff training, recruiting and project management to ensure efficient delivery of F&A services on time.

Ketul Shah

Ketul holds a Master of Commerce degree and is backed by more than 16 years of experience in the accounting field. A UK payroll expert with a deep understanding of taxation, he started his QX journey as a Finance Officer and grew into the role of Payroll Manager. Today, he heads a team of payroll experts managing payroll for a large UK recruitment agency.

With close to a decade spent working on payroll projects for leading recruitment businesses, Ketul is responsible for ensuring smooth operations for ongoing payroll projects and offers assistance with transition of new payroll projects. His in-depth understanding of the business models, goals and expectations of UK’s recruitment companies allows him to transition and migrate new projects swiftly and smoothly.

A part of the payroll team since 2005, Ketul remains conversant with laws and legislations that impact our clients. His ability to review processes and implement improvements has enabled many of our clients to benefit from increased accuracy, quicker payments and reduced processing costs. Proficient in most major payroll software packages, he excels in getting the most out digitisation and automation of payroll processes.

Deepak Aswani

Deepak holds a Chartered Accountant degree (India) and he is also a Certified Public Accountant (USA). He has been a part of QX since 2011 when he joined as an Accounts Officer. Currently, he serves as the Finance Controller for one of QX’s esteemed clients – a leading student accommodation business based in the UK.

He leads a team of experienced accountants working on accounts payables and receivables, treasury and monthly management accounting functions and is accountable for client reporting of more than 40 large properties across UK. Working on demanding projects that are witnessing high growth and expecting increased commitment from his team, he has helped improve processes efficiency to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

Leveraging his experience in working with various accounting software packages, Deepak plays a pivotal role in helping clients benefit from digitising and automating processes through implementation of new software systems or revamping and migration of existing systems. Our clients also profit from his expertise in audit and his ability to deliver insightful and accurate financial reports.

Abhijeet Soni

Abhijeet is an expert accountant with more than 10 years of experience that includes assignments in various business types and industries. He has been associated with QX for the last 7 years and has worn many hats, with roles progressing from Management Accountant, Accounts Manager to Finance Controller and later as a Transition Manager for various finance & accounts and payroll functions.

A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified accountant, he guides a force of more than 40 skilled accountants and payroll specialists and is responsible for delivering seamless services to the clients. His client-centric approach, ability to understand the unique needs of clients, and rich experience in recruitment, software, media and manufacturing industries have proved instrumental in ensuring smooth transitions and efficient functioning of projects. In addition, his expertise in automation benefits existing and new processes.

Abhijeet excels at quickly observing the business objective and defining the process outcomes around it. Over the years, he has acquired the skill of defining and setting up robust processes and introducing improvements into non-efficient processes. With quantitative and Lean techniques, he develops optimum solutions to overcome challenges encountered in a wide variety of processes. His expertise in all front-end and back-end finance functions, combined with a readiness to take on the most challenging assignments, makes him an invaluable asset to clients.

Maulik Patel

Maulik holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and has more than 15 years of experience in the finance field. A part of the QX group for more than 9 years, he possesses a thorough understanding of the UK payroll environment. Starting his journey with QX as an Accounts Officer in 2006, he has also served as both a Payroll Manager and Senior Manager Payroll, gaining valuable knowledge of the payroll issues faced by clients across the healthcare, recruitment, student accommodation, IT and other industries.

He is responsible for ensuring swift and seamless transitions of new projects and for ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and efficient payroll services for existing projects. His ability to suggest and apply process improvements based on the analysis of clients’ existing processes, business challenges and expectations has helped several businesses benefit from increased payroll processing efficiency at reduced costs.

With his detailed involvement in payroll provision since 2006, Maulik understands and remains up-to-date with the latest regulations and processes. Combining process rigour with implementation and smart utilisation of software systems and tools like Merit, IQX, Eclipse, ETZ, iTRENT, Safe EMS, Sage 50 Payroll, he delivers effective, compliant and error-free payroll solutions.

Bhavesh Bhatt

Bhavesh, an MBA in Finance and Accounts, brings 16 years of experience and insights gained by managing finance & accounts operations for a range of industries. Over the years he has served several clients with assets ranging from £500m to £2bn, including one of the world’s largest banks with a presence across 80 countries. A part of the QX team for more than 8 years, he excels at boosting productivity through enhanced processes, streamlined workflow and improved systems.

Specialising in delivering finance & accounts services for the student accommodation industry, Bhavesh leads 15+ accounts experts to deliver accounts payable, treasury, fund management, management accounting, financial reporting, consolidation of accounts, balance sheet reconciliation and database reconciliation services. Leveraging accounting expertise, team management skills, process efficiency, experience in computerized accounting, and strategic IT implementations for digitisation, his team has helped student accommodation clients reduce operating costs by 60%.

Blending accounting and industry expertise with superb project management skills, Bhavesh, who is a Six Sigma certified professional, has consistently delivered cost and efficiency saving to clients through process re-engineering and through smart implementation of technologies like Sage, Oracle, Khalix, TM1, Business Objects XI, Coda GL, and StarRez. A clear and concise communicator, he stays in constant communication with the clients, and is always ready to walk the extra mile to safeguard the client’s interests.

Tejas Patel

A qualified accountant and a Master of Commerce, Tejas has 14 years of experience in the finance & accounts fields. He joined QX as an Accounts Officer in 2005 and grew to take on the responsibilities as a payroll manager. He has been a part of the company for the last 11 years, with a core focus on payroll for recruitment agencies in the UK.

With more than a decade spent in managing payroll projects for the healthcare recruitment sector in the UK, Tejas excels in driving his team of payroll specialists to deliver timely and accurate processing services. His in-depth understanding of HMRC legislations and regulations translates into seamlessly compliant and timely processing that keeps the staff happy.

He also excels in identifying process inefficiencies and possibilities for smarter software solutions for automation. He has played a vital role in migration to and implementation of software like Safe and Trent permanent staff payroll and Merit for temporary payroll. Tejas’ focus on team building and training activities ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy from our team of payroll specialist.

Nishant Kumar

Nishant is a graduate in Commerce and has completed his MBA in Marketing from India. He has worked with large listed business, SMEs as well as small business in finance, accounts, IT, telecom, healthcare and other industries, playing an instrumental role in customer acquisition through various channels and implementing new strategies.

He brings 11 years of international experience spread across diverse roles and industries that have equipped him to identify the most beneficial solutions and deliver excellence. Nishant’s commitment to client success has helped us build and maintain strong client relations.

He leads the team of business developers for QXFA and across QX Ltd to help them effectively build and implement business development strategies. Our clients also benefit from his experience in working closely with global businesses to develop and execute plans for building and driving new revenue streams through partnership with the trade associations and government organisations.
